'With You' was built in collaboration with Katie's husband Derek Hooper. Derek has a civil engineering degree and a passion for building and creating objects that have both form and function. He brings a practical and design perspective to collaborations. Derek’s built creations include houses, decks, boats, internal reconstruction/renovation and toys for children. With a passion for the ocean developed through a lifetime of sailing, surfing, fishing, diving and swimming Derek is always most passionate about those projects which can incorporate an element of water.
